This fall, we gather with composer Nicholas Reeves to explore the story behind the acclaimed Betty’s Notebook. In 1937, fifteen-year-old Betty Klenck wrote down radio transmissions she believed came from Amelia Earhart on her final flight. Reeves’s music brings choral voices, jazz, and radio interference into a work that invites us to listen closely to a mystery that remains unresolved. In 2021, Betty's Notebook sold as the first classical music NFT on the blockchain for $375,000 and toured to Arkansas for the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association Conference.
